Wijziging Klasseregel

Since January the outhaul rope length has been restricted to 1000mm in length but the IODA Technical Committee have since verified that for many standard manufactured booms, a rope of this length results in too small an amount of rope available for a sailor to safely trim the outhaul.  Consequently an emergency rule amendment was proposed by the Executive Committee which ISAF have now approved.  This amendment comes into effect as of 6th March 2009.
 
Dit betekent dat vanaf 6 maart 2009 een maximumlengte geldt voor de onderlijkstrekker van 1200mm.
