International Optimist Team Race (OTC) – Lake Wannsee Berlin

Dear National Optimist and Sailing Club authorities, dear team leaders,

It is a great pleasure for me to invite you to the 35^th edition of the International Optimist Team Race (OTC), which will take place at Lake Wannsee, Berlin, Germany from October 19^th (registration) to 22^nd (finals and price giving ceremony), 2022. We hope that as in the past years many of you will join us.

Attached you will find the Official Invitation and the Notice of Race. All the important informations and both a form for E-mail registration and an online registration protocol will be available on the web site of the 2023 Optimist Team Cup at www.optiteamcup.de from April 1^st 2023.

However, already before April 1^st 2023, you can send me an informal application to reserve a starting slot for your team without providing all the detailed information. Please be aware that the number of participating teams is limited to 16. Therefore, we advise you to contact us as early as possible in order to ensure your team a starting slot.

For all participating sailors we offer accommodation with families of the PYC from Thursday to Sunday. Links published on our web site will also show you a list of hotels for your convenience and potential options for chartering dinghies.

Teams should be nominated in agreement with the respective national authorities and are limited to one team per country with the exception of the PYC host team and the USA as defending champion team from last year.

Deadline for registration is October, 19^th, 2023.

If entry fees are assigned via bank transfer until the 15^th of October 2023, reduced rates apply.
