We’re super excited to announce that the Royal Yacht Club Loosdrecht (KWVL) is hosting the Optiparts Dutch Team Race Championship 2024 on October 26th and 27th! It’s all happening on the beautiful lake of Loosdrecht, the same spot where the 2023 Optimist European Team Racing Championship took place. The 2024 championship is by invitation only, but if you’re interested in joining, make sure to pre-register at www.optipartsdutchteamrace.com. You can pre-register until August 1st, and after that, we’ll let you know which teams will be competing.
Here are the details:
- Date: October 26-27, 2024
- Location: Lake Loosdrecht – KWVL
- Teams: 16 teams can compete
- Entry Fee: 300 euros for 4 sailors
We’ve had an amazing time in the past with teams from Belgium, Switzerland, Ireland, Greece, Denmark, Spain, Turkey, and the Netherlands. In 2022, the Fenerbahçe sailing club took home the trophy. In 2018, we had 22 teams and 250 starts in one weekend, with the Swedish Worlds Team coming out on top. Check out this video for a taste of the action: YouTube Highlights.
